By purchasing a ticket and/or attending She Bop Festival, you agree to these Terms & Conditions.
1) Australian Consumer Law (ACL)
1.1 Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts or modifies any right or remedy you may have under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL).
2) Tickets, admission and capacity
2.1 Tickets are valid only for the date/session shown on your TryBooking ticket/confirmation.
2.2 Entry is subject to ticket validation (scanning), venue capacity limits, security screening, and compliance with these Terms.
2.3 You may be asked to show valid photo ID (including for age verification and licensed-area requirements).
2.4 We may refuse entry for tickets that appear to be fraudulent or improperly obtained.
3) All Ages + Under 15 supervision
3.1 She Bop Festival is an All Ages event.
3.2 Patrons under 15 years must be accompanied and actively supervised at all times by a Responsible Adult.
3.3 A Responsible Adult means a parent/legal guardian, or an adult (18+) authorised by the parent/guardian to supervise the minor.
3.4 We may refuse entry to, or remove, minors who are not appropriately supervised.
4) Wristbands
4.1 Wristbands may be issued and must be worn and shown on request while attending.
4.2 Wristbands may be used for site management, including age identification for licensed areas and re-entry rules.
4.3 Wristbands are non-transferable. Removing, tampering with, swapping, or counterfeiting a wristband may result in refusal of entry or removal.
4.4 Lost/damaged wristbands may only be replaced at our discretion, and only after checks (for example, ID and ticket purchase record).
5) Re-entry
5.1 Re-entry is permitted for patrons aged 18+ only, subject to capacity and security checks on return.
5.2 To re-enter you must wear the correct wristband and produce valid photo ID if requested.
5.3 No re-entry for under 18s.
6) Moving between venues
6.1 Your ticket may allow access across both venues/areas (as per your ticket type), subject to each venue’s capacity and safety limits.
6.2 You may be required to queue and undergo screening when entering each venue.
7) Bags and water bottles
7.1 Small bags are permitted (for example, handbag or small backpack). All bags are subject to inspection as a condition of entry.
7.2 Empty water bottles are permitted.
7.3 No glass bottles/containers.
8) Companion Card
8.1 Companion Card holders may bring one (1) companion to She Bop Festival.
8.2 The cardholder must present a valid Companion Card (and matching ID if requested) at entry.
8.3 The companion must enter with the cardholder and remain with the cardholder for the event.
8.4 Companion admission is subject to capacity, safety requirements, and compliance with these Terms (and any ticketing process required to allocate the companion entry).
9) Behaviour and safety
9.1 You must follow all reasonable directions from event staff, security, venue staff and emergency services.
9.2 Unsafe, abusive, aggressive, discriminatory, harassing, or illegal behaviour will not be tolerated.
9.3 We may refuse entry or remove a person where reasonably necessary for safety, security, or serious breach of these Terms.
10) Security screening and prohibited items
10.1 Security checks (including bag checks/screening) may be conducted as a condition of entry.
10.2 Prohibited items include (not exhaustive): weapons, illegal drugs, glass, fireworks/flares/smoke devices, laser pointers, drones (without written approval), and any item deemed unsafe by staff.
10.3 Confiscated prohibited items may be surrendered to police, disposed of, or held (where lawful and practical).
11) Alcohol and licensed areas
11.1 Alcohol will be served. RSA and venue licence conditions apply.
11.2 It is against the law to sell or supply alcohol to a minor, and for a minor to buy or drink alcohol in a licensed venue.
11.3 Some areas may be designated 18+ only. Evidence of age may be required to enter those areas.
12) Smoking and vaping
12.1 Smoking and vaping are prohibited in enclosed public places and are also restricted in certain outdoor areas (including near entry points) under South Australian smoke-free and vape-free laws and signage on the day.
13) Event changes (program, set times, line-up)
13.1 Set times, line-up, program, site layout and facilities may change for operational, safety, or other reasons.
13.2 If we cancel the event or make a major change, consumers may be entitled to a refund under their consumer rights.
13.3 Consumers may also have refund rights if the event cannot be delivered safely.
14) Refunds, cancellations and reschedules (TryBooking + ACL-aligned)
14.1 No blanket no refunds: We do not exclude your ACL rights. Refunds (or other remedies) may be available where required by law.
14.2 Change of mind / can’t attend: If you change your mind, can’t attend, or have personal/travel circumstances, refunds are generally not required by law and are only available if offered under the ticket type or our stated policy.
14.3 If the event is cancelled: If She Bop Festival is cancelled, refunds (where applicable) will be managed by the organiser via TryBooking.
14.4 If the event is rescheduled or relocated: If the event is rescheduled or relocated, tickets will generally remain valid for the new date/location. If you can’t reasonably attend due to the change, you may be entitled to a refund depending on the circumstances and the ACL.
15) Photography, filming and recording
15.1 By attending, you consent to being photographed/filmed/recorded for promotional, editorial and archival purposes.
15.2 If you have concerns, speak to the information point on the day; we’ll take reasonable steps but can’t guarantee exclusion from crowd shots.
16) First aid and welfare
16.1 First aid will be available. You attend at your own risk and are responsible for your own wellbeing, while we will take reasonable steps to maintain a safe event environment.
17) Lost property
17.1 Lost property can be handed in/collected at the event information point (or as directed by staff).
17.2 Unclaimed items may be disposed of after 30 days.
18) Liability (balanced)
18.1 You are responsible for your personal property; we are not responsible for loss, theft or damage to personal items.
18.2 To the extent permitted by law, we exclude liability for indirect or consequential loss.
18.3 Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under the ACL.
19) Governing law
19.1 These Terms are governed by the laws of South Australia, and the parties submit to the courts of South Australia.
